Privacy Policy

We don’t ask who you are, and we don’t keep your reference number.

Your reference number

When you enter a Reference No or Customer ID, the number is formatted in your own browser and passed to the official PITC portal, where your bill is generated. It is not written to a database here, not logged against your visit, and not shared with anyone.

If you tick Save this number on my device for next time, the number is stored in your own browser’s local storage, on your own phone or computer. It stays on your device. Clearing your browser data removes it. Nothing is sent to us.

What we don’t collect

No accounts. No sign-ups. No passwords. No email addresses unless you choose to write to us. No CNIC, no name, no address, no phone number.

What is collected automatically

Like any website, our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps. These are used to keep the site running and to detect abuse.

We use analytics software to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. This produces aggregate figures — page views, device types, general location by country or city. It does not identify you individually.

Cookies

The site itself sets no tracking cookies. Analytics and, in future, advertising may set their own. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings without breaking the bill lookup or the calculator.

Advertising

There are currently no ads on this site.

We may run Google AdSense or a similar advertising network in future. If we do, those providers may use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads, including personalised ads based on your prior browsing. Google’s practices are described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads, and you can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com. This page will be updated before any advertising goes live.

Email

Messages sent to contact@gepcoobill.pk are kept only as long as needed to deal with them. We don’t add you to a list or pass your address on.

Links to other sites

The tool sends you to bill.pitc.com.pk. Other pages link to gepco.com.pk, enc.com.pk, ccms.pitc.com.pk and nepra.org.pk. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.

Children

Nothing here is aimed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

Any change to this policy is reflected in the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the page rather than made quietly.
